Renard in Grimm 1x22 Part 1
Another great episode. The story is gathering steam, though I still want to grip Renard by his lovely biceps and demand to know what he’s doing because nothing is any clearer. He and his family want the key but he’s still protecting Nick even though he could have easily gotten rid of him at this point having taken the key by force. Is he trying to suppress his family’s evil intentions? He and his cousin with the chin didn’t seem particularly fond of one another, what with the kidnapping at gunpoint and the threatening and shooting in the head.
Also, the creep train was in full force this evening. Nan Flannagan (lots and lots of mirrors. Evil Queen??) creeping on Renard who creeped on Adalind who creeped on Hank. Speaking of Renard and Adalind, that’s got to suck, being rejected by Renard and having him wax lyrical about his mancrush right after said man has stripped her of her powers/usefulness. Still, my sympathy is limited.
I’ll end this with a suitably mysterious quote from Renard:
“Sometimes the bigger picture is complicated by things beyond our control.”
Renard’s sexy manipulation of Adalind is both hot and sort of hilarious. He’s essentially doing to Adalind what she is doing to Hank. Without the magic cookies, because he’s magically delicious enough on his own. Or is it his Eau De Royale? Either way, poor Adalind thought she was getting some hot Royal action for a second there, only to be cruelly denied, so for that tiny second I felt pity for her.
Another nice interview with Sasha. Interview starts at around 12mins.
Renard in 1x14.
Not much Renard in this episode and yet I still loved it. This is why I love Grimm. So many great characters that even when my favourite isn’t on much, it doesn’t matter. Monroe geeking out over trains, Juliette kicking ass, Nick being awesome, Wu being snarky and poor Hank pretending not to notice that Portland has gone mental. And NotAlec Baldwin.
Thank you, writers. THANK YOU!
“Your first mistake was coming to my city. Second mistake was not knowing who you have to kneel before.”

Renard in Grimm 1x13.
Jammies (why wardrobe department, why?!), dress blues (thanks wardrobe department, I totally forgive the royal jammies!), no shirt, Evita dreams, crazy charismatic ‘I will fix this city’ press conferences and finally, flipped out junkie begging. Yes, this episode had it all. And some other stuff happened too!
